AFS Energy is looking for a senior sales professional, fluent in German, who is ready to build their own client portfolio from scratch in the fast-growing world of Environmental Commodities. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage an existing book. You will be the one creating it.
Based out of our Amsterdam office on the Stock Exchange floor, you will prospect new clients, develop trading strategies, and advise organizations on the right carbon solutions for their needs. With 2 to 3 years of experience in sales or business development, you know how to create opportunities and follow through until the deal is done.

The Role
This is a senior individual contributor role. You are not inheriting a portfolio; you are building one from zero. That means prospecting, calling, pitching, and closing, day after day. Cold calling is the core of this job. If that does not appeal to you, this is not the right fit. If it does, you will find a strong product offering, a growing market, and a team behind you.
Job requirements
Prospecting and cold calling German-speaking clients to build your portfolio from scratch.
Building and managing lasting client relationships in the Environmental Commodities space.
Pitching and closing deals across a range of renewable energy products tailored to each client.
Identifying cross-selling opportunities within your growing portfolio.
Researching market trends and staying on top of relevant regulations and developments.
Managing the full deal process: onboarding, contracts, and CRM updates.
What We Are Looking For
2 to 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, brokerage, or the energy/commodities sector.
Fluent in German and English, written and spoken.
Proven track record of building client relationships and hitting targets.
Entrepreneurial mindset: you take ownership and do not wait for leads to come to you.
Structured and detail-oriented when managing deals and client data.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
