AFS is growing fast—and we’re looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Junior Broker to join our high-performance team in New York.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Broker at AFS Commodities, you are on a mission to unlock value in environmental commodity markets for our clients while building a profitable, forward-looking portfolio of trades.
Your day-to-day will include:
• Call, call, and call - (cold) calling is 90% of the job.
• Build and maintain your own portfolio of clients.
• Talk to people all day — build relationships, pitch deals, and close.
• Close deals.
• Driving cross-selling opportunities: at AFS, we offer a range of renewable products that can be tailored to meet each client’s specific needs.
• Oversee the post-deal process, including client onboarding, contract completion, and ensuring accurate CRM updates.
• Keep grinding until the deal is done. Then start again.
