Sales Trader – EAC/ Biomethane
AFS Energy is expanding! We are on the hunt for a skilled communicator fluently German with a drive for sales, ready to support one of our Environmental Commodities desks and create lasting relationships with existing and new clients.

Responsibilities of a Sales Trader
Call, call, and call - (cold) calling is 90% of the job.
Build and maintain your own portfolio of clients.
Talk to people all day — build relationships, pitch deals, and close.
Close deals.
Driving cross-selling opportunities: at AFS, we offer a range of renewable products that can be tailored to meet each client’s specific needs.
Oversee the post-deal process, including client onboarding, contract completion, and ensuring accurate CRM updates.
Keep grinding until the deal is done. Then start again.
What you will be doing
You’ll be responsible for managing a client portfolio, which includes understanding their needs and develop relations with them.
You are going to research market trends and keep track of the rules and regulations.
Developing strategies to improve performance: You boost client satisfaction and meet sales targets.
Executing trades where you are responsible for execution on behalf of clients, following established trading protocols and procedures.
Maintaining existing relationships while creating your own portfolio with new clients and stakeholders.
Job requirements
What you will bring along
Bachelor’s degree or higher
You are fluent in German and English

You are structured and have an eye for detail.
