We're looking for a driven sales professional to join our Carbon Compliance desk. Your job is to build and grow our client base by proactively reaching out to companies that need to navigate the EU ETS and turning those conversations into long-term relationships. Build and manage relationships with clients in environmental commodities (carbon, RECs, RNG, clean fuels)
Originate and close deals, working closely with our Amsterdam team
Stay sharp on regulatory developments and market dynamics
Represent AFS at industry events and grow your network
Proven experience in environmental commodities, in a brokerage, trading, or advisory role
An existing network in this space, whether on the buy or sell side
Someone who is self-directed and comfortable in a small team environment
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Salary $130k - $170k+ depending on experience, plus performance-based compensation
